Easter in London

How are you doing? What are you doing this Easter?We decided to stay in London this holidays and had really good plans!!!

Hola Chicos! ¿Cómo estáis? ¿Cómo habéis pasado la Semana Santa? Nosotros decidimos quedarnos en Londres y la verdad es que hemos organizado muy buenos planes!! 

On Friday, we went for dinner to one of our favourites polynesian restaurants: Trader Vic's!! We already knew the one in Marbella (Spain) and now we have discovered that there's actually one in London!!! This one is located inside the London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane (Mayfair). 

El viernes fuimos a cenar a uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos, es polinesio y se llama Trader Vic's. Nosotros ya conocíamos el de Marbella (Puerto Banús) que ya no existe (hay uno parecido en su lugar llamado 'Polynesian') y hemos descubierto ahora que también lo hay en Londres, dentro del hotel Hilton de Park Lane en Mayfair. 

Instagram Addicted

We have to confess that we have become ADDICTED to Instagram in last few months... we love how it works, as a mix between Facebook (photos and likes) and Twitter ( mentions @ and Hashtags #) but also adds filters to your photos so they look awesome!... If you really want to follow what we at Etrala London are doing everyday, don't hesitate to follow us on Instagram (@EtralaLondon)!! But in the meanwhile, or for all who still don't use it, here you have the best selection of what we have been doing in the last few weeks...

Debemos confesar y confesamos, que en los últimos meses nos hemos vuelto ADICTOS a Instagram... Nos encanta y nos engancha la mezcla entre Facebook (por las fotos, por el "me gusta") y Twitter (por las menciones @ y Hashtags #) pero además añade filtros que hacen que las fotos sean -parezcan- increíbles!!... Borough Market

Last Saturday morning, we went to Borough Market. Its (one of) the most important food markets in London and we had never been there!! (wrong!). 

Borough Market is London's most renowned food market; a source of exceptional British and international produce. 

This market is very close to Tower Bridge.-

A walk over Broadway Market

This Saturday, before popping up at our friends place for an informal lunch, we went for a walk across this lovely market: Broadway Market. 

It´s a place where you can find from fine food to vintage clothes....

Actually, all the food we had at the lunch came from this market and it was really good!!

In Broadway Market there is not only the market, but also very nice shops and cafés along the street... We especially loved one of them as it was a "sewing shop" :-) Get Sewing!

We strongly recommend a visit!!!

Este Sábado, antes de ir a casa de unos amigos a comer, fuimos de paseo al Broadway Market, un  curioso mercado donde se pueden encontrar desde delicatessen hasta ropa vintage....

De hecho toda la comida posterior venía del mercado y estaba buenísima!!

Además, no es sólo el mercado, sino que también la calle está llena de tiendas bonitas y cafeterías muy chulas... Nos encanta especialmente una de ellas ya que es una "tienda de costura" :-) Get Sewing! 

Sin duda os recomendamos la visita!!!

Sunday Picnic at Hyde Park

Spring has finally arrived in London, and can´t imagine a better way to celebrate it than with a Sunday picnic at Hyde Park...

It seems that we were not the only ones who came up with the idea!

La primavera por fin ha llegado a Londres, y qué mejor manera de celebrarlo que con un Picnic de domingo en Hyde Park!

Parece ser que no fuimos los únicos a los que se les ocurrió la idea! 

DIY: Do It Yourself

One of last Sundays, we were walking around Columbia Road (where the flower market is) and we saw this wonderful shop called “Supernice” and we decided to pop in… There you can find all kind of letters to customise yourself and wall stickers to decorate your home… or business placeJ! Why don’t we buy “Etrala”? And this is where DIY began…

Hace pocos domingos, en uno de nuestros paseos por Londres, estábamos dando una vuelta por Columbia Road (donde ponen el Mercado de las Flores) y de repente nos encontramos con esta maravillosa tienda “Supernice” (como su propio nombre indica..) En ella, te puedes encontrar todo tipo de letras y vinilos para la pared.. para decorar tu casa.. o porqué no.. tu lugar de trabajoJ! Porqué no compramos “Etrala”? Y aquí es donde el Do It Yourself comenzó…

Today we´d like to show you the Flower Market, located across Columbia Road (East London). 

Columbia Road, where so many lovely stores are located, hosted the flower market every Sunday, then the flowers flood the entire road.

Some people playing instruments as spontaneous bands add extra value....

Hoy nos gustaría enseñaros el Mercado de las Flores, que se encuentra en  Columbia Road (East London). 

Columbia Road está llena de tiendecitas con encanto, papelerías, tiendas de ropa... todo hecho de forma artesanal y con mucho cariño. Además, esta calle se llena de puestos de flores cada domingo, creando un entorno digno de visitar!

Por si fuera poco, este espectáculo floral se acompaña de la música en directo que tocan algunos espontáneos callejeros...
